Camera System


I build a new camera system with a focus on the cinematic aspect of the came. That means fixed positions and a focus on well framed, pretty images.

It works by having each camera exist in the scene, with the camera component disabled. The advantage of this, compared to the old system then a camera got teleported around, is that setting up the shots is a lot easier with the preview window. Currently I have a camera controller that switches all the camera components off and the desired camera on, which works nicely.

A dolly isn't quite possible yet, and not yet necessary, but if we go with a more specific scene-by-scene based system where control of the framing would be greatly improved it might be fun. More in that later.
